RIYADH: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan met with Omani counterpart Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al-Busaidi in Muscat on Monday.During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to promote ties.

The ministers also reviewed opportunities for bilateral cooperation in various areas and exchanged views on regional and international events of common interest. The meeting was attended by Abdullah bin Saud Al-Enezi, Saudi ambassador to Oman, and Abdulrahman Al-Dawood, director general of the office of the minister of foreign affairs. On the sidelines of his official visit, Prince Faisal also toured Oman’s National Museum.

He was briefed on Omani heritage and listened to a talk on the museum’s handicrafts, architectural heritage, documents and manuscripts, as well as tools and means related to marine science, maritime navigation and traditional agricultural tools and methods.The Saudi minister was later seen off by Al-Busaidi and other officials at Muscat International Airport.
